The Hasbeens - Keep fooling yourself (2008)

Fat produced NuItalo track from the Netherlands.

Mikron's - Vision (1986)

Sounds basically like "Polynesia" by "Mikron". Nearly the same name and the same sound - pretty clear that the writer of these songs is only one person: Fabio Masion. The other writer is Fabrizio Rizzolo also known as "Brian Ice" for example.

The Toys - Boogie in the night (1984)

That's funky Italo shit!!! The vocals are kind of strange but I like the instrumental version - as usual on the B-side.

Thursday, December 30, 2010

Valerie Dore - Get closer (1984)

... to serve the cheese- and romance-factor of Italo and its video-clips:

Gesaffelstein - Death fagh (2008)

Back to the recent years with this one that was released on the EP "Vengeance Factory". Space flow included. Another track from this release I've already posted here in the blog.

Moments - The station (instr.) (1984)

This is the instrumental version on the B-side which is part of the "Musica da Batticuore"-mix number 7. Hypnotical bassline.

Smiles - N. 1,4 Magnetic dance (1983)

Besides "Pendulum" this one was the second release of "Smiles" in 1983 - nothing more came around later. But both are great tunes.

Sheik Sphere - Deep freeze (1984)

Who the hell invents such obscure group-names. The track itself is obscure as well. The producer of this one - Bruno Bergonzi - was playing the drums for P. Lion's "Happy children" and was also one of the two members of "Dhuo".

Wednesday, December 29, 2010

P.L. - I don't know what it is (1982)

... me either! I admit: this is kind of strange with a very big cosmic and space touch - but I like it.

The picture you can see in video is not the correct one - it shows the B-side of this release.

Planet 84 - The gold rush (1987)

The only release of "Planet 84" produced by well-known Alex Cundari - one of the greatest at it's time.

Steel Mind - Boss man (1982)

With this one "Steel Mind" surprises us with a strange piece of music - but listen yourself.

P. Lion - Kings of the night (1984)

This one is taken from P. Lion's album "Springtime". Not as famous as "Happy children" which we know all but also a fine song.

Kid Frost - Terminator (instr.) (1985)

Also an electro track. This is one of the numberous excellent tracks has been played back in the 80s in my hometown disco at midnight when the lasershow starts up.

Arpanet - I-mode (2002)

This is more an electro cut than Italo. I wanna post it though because I love so much this bassline - and it's a rather short track ;-)

Monday, December 27, 2010

Junior Boys - So this is goodbye (2006)

A recent track in a melancholical mood with a nice slow-bubbling bassline.

Telex - Pakmoväst (1979)

Telex was founded in 1978 by Belgian guys Marc Moulin, Dan Lacksman and Michel Moers as an electronic disco-pop band. Marc Moulin already died in 2008; a pity. Their most successful 7" probably was "Moskow Discow". This here is the B-side of that 7inch.

The Metal Mother - I think ... (2007)

This is a little excursion in slo-mo deep-cosmic sound which absolutely contains some nice elements from Italo.

The Creatures - Expansion (1982)

Another masterpiece from the legendary album "L'Altro Mondo Studios". Makes me shivering every time I hear it loud feeling like being in a 80s-club and listening the opener of another great Italo-night or gazing at the midnight lasershow-action.

Thursday, December 23, 2010

East Wall - Eyes of glass (1985)

Producer was Ray Masola who also released "Malcom & The Bad Girls - Shoot me". The bassline remembers me on some tracks by "Sensitive" like "Give me" or "Driving". Great!!

Evelyn Smith - Lost in love (1982)

Nice funky guitar imbedded in such a wonderful Italo-mood.

Claudio Mingardi - Star (1984)

This is a medley between "Robyx - Star" and "David Bowie - Starman" in Italo-style. Robyx' real name is Roberto Zanetti and brought us such pearls like "Don't cry tonight" and "Only you" as his alias Savage.

The B-side features the so called "instrumental" version which contains a very nice vocoder. Check it out!

Monday, December 20, 2010

Flexi Cowboys - Sexy movie (1984)

"Tell me, tell me baby ... What you gonna do tonight ...". This song is so sexy and beautiful. Like it a lot.

The picture cover would also fit to the second release of the Flexi Cowboys: "Domination".

Frisbee - You are made for me (1985)

This song has been produced by Luigi Macchiaizzano who also has written for example "Travel Sex - Sexiness". Nice gem.

Data - Living inside me (1983)

Not only recent productions are coming from Scandinavia - but also this one from '83; it comes from a Norway.

Saturday, December 18, 2010

Thai Break - Flowers in the rain (Original) (1985)

This piece of Italo is one of the best in my modest opinion.

... and then came Serge Santiago in 2008 and made it much better than ever - a masterpiece of edits. Play this as loud as you can:

Savage - "Don't cry tonight" (1983) and "Only you" (1984)

More romance you probably can't find than only in this two hits:

DON'T CRY TONIGHT:

ONLY YOU:

Den Harrow - Charleston/Broken radio (1986)

One of his most successful chart hits.

... and the B-side begins with a warning from outer space - so be careful ...

Tuesday, December 14, 2010

Baltimora - Tarzan boy (1984)

One of the greatest Italo-chart-hits in the 80s.

Gino Felino - Spend the night (2010)

What - 2010??? Yes it's really a track from this year with samples from Steel Mind and Peter Richard. Very well done in my opinion.

Koto - Visitors (1985)

More infos about Koto you can get in my post "Chinese revenge". This one here is probably one of Koto's most successful tracks ever.

Monday, December 13, 2010

Pleasure Discipline - For hours now (Remix) (1984)

This beautiful track has been produced back in '84 but it has been only released within a mixed compilation from the same year and never as a 7inch or 12inch. Finally in 2009 the original producers came out with a five-track compilation and the full version of this.
Simply great!!!

The Sweeps - Facing the night (2010)

"Synth Planet" is the forth compilation of the "Radio Cosmos" label and contains also some very nice synth-pop and Italo-based tracks like this one here:

Antilles - Longing for the spring (2009)

This one is also from the compilation "Synthetic Momento" and fits somehow to the wheather at the moment - I'm longing for the spring too!!!

Sunday, December 12, 2010

Vision Talk - Dina tankar (2009)

This is also a very poppy piece of music by this Swedish band from the last year. The release is taken from the great double album "Synthetic Momento" on the Radio Cosmos label.

The Creatures - May be one day (1984)

Beginning with about 90 bpm and then turning into a uplifting dance hit. There are really pieces by "The Creatures" which are more essential for their sound but it's a nice song though. Very poppy!!

Swan - Don't talk about it (1986)

Production by Alex Cundari - one of the busiest Italo producer ever.

"... and I say: Oh oh oh oh ..."

Wednesday, December 8, 2010

Scotch - Disco band (1983)

Did you caught a cold??? Oh no it's "Disco band"!!

... and the remix with even more cough ...

Raf(f) - Self control (1984)

Also a well known song. The original artist's name of Raffaele Riefoli is "Raf". Only in Germany he has been called "Raff" because of the 70s terror group "RAF".

This is the video-clip from 1984.

Ryan Paris - Dolce vita (1983)

Absolutely classic - who doesn't know this one?

Really live sung!!

Sunday, December 5, 2010

Grant Miller - Colder than ice / Red for love (1985)

Hey girls, isn't he a cutie??? How he is moving so smooth to the rhythm!!

... and that's the B-side to get you on the dancefloor!!

Roger Meno - I find my way (1985)

Nice car on the cover.

... and all you moustache lovers will find your way here ... :-)

Vivien Vee - Higher (1983)

This video shows the most sychronised hyperactivated male dance performance ever.

BTW: it's a nice song though ... ;-)

Saturday, December 4, 2010

Deborah Kinley - Surprise (1984)

Seeeexxxxyyyy!!! If you have a look at the cover - and you WILL HAVE a look at the cover - you know why "sex sells" ... ;-))) Nice track though.

Den Harrow - Future brain (1985)

One of Den's most successful songs ever I think. Great tune at all. Here are both versions of the 12inch so you can listen to your own favourite one.

Anthony's Games - Silent smiles (1985)

Great tune to dance to produced by Raff Todesco and Marius Percali. Todesco was also in productions from Time (for example Shaker shake or Selling song).

Wednesday, December 1, 2010

Diana Est - Tenax (1982)

Real name of Diana Est is Cristina Barbieri and she was born in Italy. This remix by Tony Carrasco is the pure Italo-feeling. I prefer the instrumental dub version on the B-side of the original 12inch. I think you should know both - the vocal and the instrumental. Here we go ...

Joe Garrasco & M.M. - Action (1986)

Sooooooo fantastic - and ultrarare as well.

Felli - Diamond in the night (1983)

Another bomb from the fabulous year 1983!!

Tuesday, November 30, 2010

Sunday, November 28, 2010

Betty Miranda - Dance (1985)

This is the second song by Betty Miranda written by R.(Romano) Bais who also arranged "Sunlight" by "M like Moon".

Betty Miranda - Take me to the top (1984)

These life performances at the Italian "Discoring" TV-show does always take me to the top ... hahahaha!!

Albert One - Heart on fire (1985)

After introducing Alberto Carpani as the head of Jock Hattle (Band) this is my first post under his alias Albert One.

Tuesday, November 23, 2010

Wednesday, November 17, 2010

Tobias Bernstrup - Midnight blue (2008)

Nice NuItalo track by this Swedish guy from Gothenburg with Miami Vice vibe.

Brian Auger - Night train to nowhere (1985)

Always highly recommended record. Here some surprising informations about Brian Auger you wouldn't really have expected - Discogs says:

Born 18th July 1939 in London, UK.
Jazz pianist, bandleader, session man, Hammond B3 innovator and key figure in the rise of jazz/rock fusion.

Den Harrow - Mad desire (1984)

Live performance by Den Harrow at the Italian TV-show "Discoring".

And here for your pleasure the 12inch version of this great gem:

Righeira - Vamos a la playa (1983)

Not posted yet - but not forgotten. The probably most famous and successful Italo song ever ... With official video-clip.

Sunday, November 14, 2010

Thursday, November 11, 2010

Mr. Pauli - Pick up the phone (2008)

For a change after all that classic Italo tracks here comes a production from 2008 by Ingmar Pauli. Very nice one in my opinion. Enjoy!

Cless - Extraterrestreally (1983)

As we were just at piano tones: here is another mostly unknown but wonderful title with some passages of piano and also of saxophone. I personally prefer the instrumental version on the B-side.

Shah - Serenade (1985)

A very smooth and romantic song with great piano and beautiful female voice.

Tuesday, November 9, 2010

Mirage - Just one more chance (1985)

Hey, you see it's my Mirage-day today. This one is my personal favourite of THIS Mirage: the powerful B-side of "No more no war".

Mirage - No more no war (1985)

This is the same Mirage as the post before. It has a peaceful message: No more no war!!

Mirage - Get down (1984)

This "Mirage"-project has nothing to do with the post of "Change your life". It's another Mirage but also a good piece of music.

Thursday, November 4, 2010

Company B. - Fascinated (1986)

This song was a floor-filler back in '86 and was rocking the clubs all over. Here you can watch a live performance from 1987. Enjoy that crazy blue-artifical-leather outfits and the amazing white wigs.

J.D. Jaber - Don't wake me up (1986)

Timerider - Cocoon (1985)

The track is nice but nothing special. The only thing that's special is the man behind this production: Manfred Alois Segieth - or better known as "Fancy". There are always new surprises in this business ... :-)

Tuesday, November 2, 2010

Primadonna - Flashing on the floor (1984)

Typical sound with warm synths, a catchy melody and kind of strange female voice.

Peter Jacques Band - Drives me crazy (1985)

Oh my god - that drives me crazy!!!

Camaro's Gang - Fuerza major (1985)

This group has its roots in the amazing Superradio. The two founders of Superradio were Franco Scopinich & Venise and they were working together with lots of Italo-heros - for example Alessandro Novaga or Tony Carrasco. To play their own music in the radio they also founded their own record label: Superradio Records.

Fuerza major is a lovely piece of music they created.

Sunday, October 31, 2010

John Carpenter/The Splash Band - Halloween (1984)

Happy HALLOWEEN!!!

UUUUAAAAAAHHHHHH........!!!!

Valerie Dore - It's so easy (1985)

I just recognized that there isn't any post of Valerie Dore here yet. So I have to change this immediately because that's essential for Italo indeed.

Fred Ventura - Night and day (1987)

Typical Crivellente-Farina production from these years. Like it but this is really the time when Italo-sounds become more and more exchangeable and were losing its individual character. The best years really were earlier.

Hivoh - To be together (1985)

Only 112 bpm but uplifting though. BTW: nice saxophone - and funky guitar at about 3:30. Awesome!

Saturday, October 30, 2010

Thursday, October 28, 2010

Vicio Latino - Horario disco (1984)

Spanish Italo!! B-side of "¿Sabes que hora es?". Excellent!

George Aaron - She's a devil (1984)

Ace track with a massive synth-work that rocks like hell :-))

Lime - The party's over (1984)

This is the B-side of the 12inch "I don't wanna lose you" which I like a lot. "The party's over" has such a melancholical vibe and if you're listening to the lyrics you can really imagine how the both are feeling - they were falling in love and nobody has the heart to talk to the other one.

Monday, October 25, 2010

Joe Yellow - Lover to lover (1983)

First release of Joe Yellow who also has many aliases - for example Sylvi Foster or Bob Salton. Under these names he also came out with some great stuff.

Raggio di Luna - Comanchero (1984)

Live performance from 1985 of this essential slow-mo Italo hit first released in 1984. That was really a hit and nothing from the underground.

DJ's Factory - A view to a kill (1985)

Italo cover version of the 007-theme originally made by Duran Duran. The clip is kind of ridiculous because both actors are doing anything else but singing and playing instruments :-)

Saturday, October 23, 2010

Rofo - Flashlight on a disconight (1983)

First release of this HiNRG based project called "Rofo" from the Netherlands. Wonderful!!

Stefano Pulga - Love taker (1983)

The man who produced many things from Kano also made his own career with great music.
The first cut is the 12inch version; the second cut shows a live performance in the Italian TV.

I personally prefer the instrumental version on the B-side of the 12inch.

Fred Ventura - Imagine (1987)

It's still Italo but you can recognize that it's a late 80s production with the first influences of House music. Nice piece of music though.

Thursday, October 21, 2010

Phaeax - Talk about (1983)

WOW - let's dance through the night with this HiNRG burner.

Ooooh-ooooh-ooooh-oooohhh...

Jupiter Black ft. Fred Ventura - Hold me (2007)

The German guys from Jupiter Black created a warm NuItalo bomb together with the legend Fred Ventura. Absolutely worth to listen to. A real journey back into the 80s.

Gazebo - Lunatic (1983)

For all lovers of piano and more classic instruments in Italo-songs. This is the official video. It's soooooo nice!!!

Tuesday, October 19, 2010

Jock Hattle - Crazy family (1983)

HiNRG track produced by Alberto Carpani alias Albert One - see also the related post some days ago.

Rofo - I want you (1984)

Cheesy and soooo good though ...

Mya & The Mirror - Hesitation (1984)

Written and produced by Maurizio Dami. Maurizio who?? You also know this guy as Alexander Robotnick. As usual with some unusual elements - but although good old Italo.

Saturday, October 16, 2010

Ka-Zan - Give me your heart (1986)

Another surprise: The real name of "Ka-Zan" is Luca Zanarini - and he was involved in two great productions of Amin Peck: "Running straight" and "Modem - Your fun (an alias of Amin Peck)". Luca was part of the mixing-team besides some others.

Jock Hattle Band - To be or not to be (1986)

I knew that this sound is known to me. But why? Very simple: behind Jock Hattle (Band) stands Alberto Carpani alias Albert One. And who doesn't know hits from Albert One?

Naif Orchestra - Check-out five (1984)

This song has some surprising elements for you (saxophones for example) - nevertheless: great sound.

Thursday, October 14, 2010

Nexus - Stand up (1983)

This gem is still influenced by the 70s disco-era. The man behind "Nexus" is Maurice Cavalieri. I guess this name doesn't say anything to the most people but if I tell you that he also is responsible for killer tracks like "Charlie - Spacer woman" or that he stands behind the "International Music System" you see that he is so much more than an unknown quantity.

Here I give you both versions of his "Stand up" - the vocal and the instrumental.

Wednesday, October 13, 2010

Ken Laszlo - Tonight (1985)

After his first successful release "Hey hey guy" in 1984 Ken Laszlo came out with this one. It's pretty nice but can't reach the "phone-call-gem".

Max Coveri - One more time (1986)

One of the best 86-releases - that's rare enough and the reason why I mention it.

Fake - Right (Remix) (1984)

This is a great sounding song with a hypnotic bassline and nice vocals.

Monday, October 11, 2010

My Mine - Cupid girl (1985)

This is a most forgotten and underrated song by My Mine whose most successful release probably was "Hypnotic tango". Here you can watch one of these typical 80s video clips.

Max Him - Lady fantasy (1985)

After "No escape" this was the next song by "Him". This is one of two 12inch versions - besides a remix from the same year. The instrumental on the B-side has been played by the DJ in our hometown disco when he was celebrating the lasershow - suited somehow.

Max Him - No escape (1984)

This was the second release of Max Him but the first one that has been really noticed. Nice synths and a catchy melody - and you even can listen to the vocals without bleeding out of your ears :-)

Saturday, October 9, 2010

Hypnosis - Pulstar (1983)

Turn the laser on - it's showtime ...

Robert Marlow - No heart (1983)

Not many people payed attention to this man and his releases have been forgotten soon. But this one is probably his best - it's the B-side of "I just want to dance".

Time - Selling song (1984)

Most people know their classic "Shaker shake". But this is also a nice one for sure. With the well known bassline similar to Shaker shake.

Thursday, October 7, 2010

Monday, October 4, 2010

Margueritas - Margherita (Hot edit) (2003)

This is the only version I found on youtube. It has been released on the "Unclassics #2" in 2003. But this one isn't really worse than the original from 1980.

Tom Hooker - Looking for love (1986)

Production and voice is very similar to Den Harrow. What the hell is the reason for that? :-))))

Saturday, October 2, 2010

Fred Ventura - I'm not ready (2009)

To verify my thesis from the last post about Fred Ventura here is the probably best song of the year 2009. It's produced by the Italian duo Ajello and is a total reminiscence to the best HiNRG-producer ever - Robert Phillip Orlando.

Fred Ventura - The years (go by) (1985)

This is one of the best vocal Italo songs ever. Fred Ventura has a great voice and makes it the perfect way. BTW: he is still in the business today and delivers some great work yet.

The Creatures - Digital rebel (1983)

This is the B-side of the 12inch "Believe in yourself" you also can find here in the blog.

Vicio Latino - ¿Qué me pasa, qué me pasa? (1983)

Italo produced by a Spanish guy from Madrid named Pedro Vidal. The female voice is a bit hysterical but the synths are great.

Thursday, September 30, 2010

My Mine - Zorro (1984)

One year after the great "Hypnotic tango" My Mine came out with this gem. Not as successful as their first release but also a good one in my opinion.

My Mine - Hypnotic tango (1983)

Classic tune!!!

Amin Peck - Running straight (1984)

Another fantastic work by Amin Peck. He understands to join a strange voice with stunning synth-sounds and the result is always a great one. "Running straight" is another proof of this statement.

Samoa Park - Monkey latino (1983)

This is the first release of Samoa Park. It's a medley between the two songs "Monkey chop" and "Paris latino". Well done!

Wednesday, September 22, 2010

Miko Mission - The world is you (1984)

That's also Italo pure.

Droids - The force (SSUK edit) (2008)

The original from 1977 is essential and you also can find it here in the blog. This one here is a 2008-edit version from Serge Santiago and launches the floor into the orbit.

Sorry but the video isn't available at the time.

Legowelt - Visions fade (2000)

Great tune from Danny Wolfers - the man behind Legowelt and lots of other projects and aliases.
His productions are all a bit dark and the bassline in this gem remembers me on Bobby "O".

The video shows some clips from the movie "Future chock" from 1972.

Saturday, September 18, 2010

Dance Disorder - Zusammen (2010)

This track is mindblowing - especially when the synth-bassline comes in at about 1:48. One of best tracks in 2010 in my opinion. But listen yourself.

Sebastien Tellier - Kilometer (Aeroplane "Italo 84" Remix) (2009)

Hey this is from 1984!! Not really because Sebastien Tellier was 9 years old back in '84. It's really from 2009 and Aeroplane made it sound like a good old Italo-track with their amazing remix.

Image - Hot stuff (Spasmo version - instrumental) (1984)

I've already posted the vocal version here in the blog because the so much better B-side wasn't available at that time. But now I found it finally.

Doctor's Cat - Feel the drive (1983)

Some time ago I've posted here the Trans Europe Mix of this amazing song. Now I think it's time for the original.

Sensitive - Give me (1985)

In good Sensitive-tradition - if you can talk about a tradition with their three tracks - that synth-line sounds sooooo good.

Wednesday, September 15, 2010

Riccardo Cioni - Fog (1984)

After all these post from nowadays and the recent years we are going back now into the 80s with this - I guess - mostly unknown masterpiece (at least to me) of electro-influenced Italo. It is the second track on the B-side of the 12inch "Darkness inside".

I really can imagine that this sound would be blow you away by listening in a club and seeing the green laser quivering across the room. Play this record loud!!!

In Flagranti - Personal angst (2008)

Another balearic and cosmic-style oriented track with some acid elements. Also appearing on an EP named "Cosmic Balearic Beats Vol. 1 (Part 1)".

Bogdan Irkük a.k.a. Bulgari - When I dream of New York (2009)

Epic and cosmic beach-style like. Nice stuff which has been released on the "Epic Disco Vol. 1" from "Rollerboys recordings".
The title of this EP is its programm too.

Monday, September 13, 2010

Phoreski - Slow me down (2009)

Another relaxing new track released on the Spanish label "Rare Wiri Records" which has been founded by Raico Peña aka Rayko - a pal from Ilya Santana. It contains a good bassline as well as lots of other great synth- and guitar-elements.

Ilya Santana - You are the one (2009)

Cosmic-balearic-italo-withfunkyguitar-style. Very unique work from this Gran-Canarian boy who is living in the capitol of this Canarian island - Las Palmas. And that's not the only unique track he composed. Check him out - it's worth.

Keen K - When the moon falls down (2010)

Pretty new stuff from the German guy Kai Lüdeling. He is an electro/italo producer based in Berlin and started making music in the late 80s. Another alias of him is "Divider" who was responsible for the massive Divider-remix of "We like Moroder" originally released by Jupiter Black.

This track here is very smooth and melodious but also has a part with a very driving bassline after a break at 3:16. Great work at all ... The track appeared on the "Synth Planet"-album of the "Radio Cosmos"-label from France.

Monday, September 6, 2010

Casionova - The visionary (2008)

This is another killer track from this "Cyber Dance Records" release "Messages from the void". Support the artists and save vinyl!! It's really worth.

Ali Renault - Zombie raffle (Mr. Pauli's revenge) (2008)

A slomo NuItalo-killer from Ali Renault remixed by Ingmar Pauli aka Mr. Pauli. It has been released on an EP called "Messages from the void" on "Cyber Dance".

GREAT WORK at all!!

Rofo - You've got to move it on (1984)

Classic HiNRG-Italo-gem produced by Fonny de Wulf from the Netherlands. De Wulf was also responsible for the first Laser Dance track. He also made music in later years in the house and techno genre.

Wednesday, September 1, 2010

Azul y negro - The night (1982)

I found this live gig of "Azul y negro" with their famous hit "La noche" or "The night". Really nice to see them acting with all their synthesizers and hear them singing through the vocoder.

And here is the vinyl and studio recorded version we all know - but a bit pitched down.

Kano - Cosmic voyager (1980)

This is a track from Kano's first album "Kano". You can hear the very early influence of Italo (produced by Stefano Pulga - as usual for Kano) as well as the influence of end 70s Disco music. Nice combination in my opinion.

Smith 'n' Hack - Falling stars (2007)

This is definitely music from outer space. If you close your eyes you can watch the falling stars "deep in the unknown" at "the point of no return".

Saturday, August 28, 2010

Divine - Shoot your shot (1982)

And because it's just Bobby "O" time here is Divine in a real video and a live performance - whatever you call performance.

The New York Models - Love on video (instr.) (1985)

This is another female singer project masterminded by Bobby "O".

There also is the vocal version available with the picture of the original "MEMO records" label. I didn't post this one because the speed of the record is pitched up on a level that doesn't sound very well.

The Flirts - Danger (1983)

The Flirts were not always the same singers but they had only ONE mastermind: Bobby Orlando. And the sound couldn't hide this.

Monday, August 23, 2010

Alden Tyrell - Rendez vous at Rimini (2006)

Hey friends, I gonna take you on a timetrip. Let's travel to the Italian Adria coast and visit the old 80s clubs of Rimini.

Track is featured on this great double album "Times like these (1999-2006)".

Michael Prince - Dance your love away (1985)

If your heart is broken listen to this song and "Dance your love away"!!!!

Gil de la Paz - I wanna live (1987)

This is some of these forgotten B-sides. It's called House but for me there is also a lot of Italo in it - and pure energy to rock the house.

Thursday, August 19, 2010

The Hasbeens - You and me (2009)

Very nice new Italo-track with great vocoder voice. If you watch this official video completely you can see master Alden Tyrell passing by as the driver of the old Mercedes Benz.

Chris Luis - The heart of the city (1984)

Classic Italo gem. Love this a lot.

Laser Cowboys - The final conflict (1984)

Once upon a time in the West ... Supported by scenes from the movie "Westworld". Well done clip.

The Robot Scientists at Comet/Magnet Berlin Fri 20th Aug

For those of you dear readers who live in Berlin or close-by, next week, Friday, The Robot Scientists will present a 2-hour DJ set with higher energy synth disco monsters at the Magnet / Comet Club. Don't miss this - might be a unique chance to dance to their spaced out beats!

P. Lion - Happy children (1983)

Not to forget this one. The sound quality is pretty poor but I thought to post an original video from this time - it's rare enough to watch them but everytime kind of funny.

Miko Mission - How old are you (1984)

Essantial Italo track - but you don't have to listen to the vocals; they are pretty stupid. But what we love is the music and the sound.
